Have you ever heard the term 'resilient flooring' thrown around? Maybe you've said it yourself or plugged those words into a search engine. Well, resilient flooring is a category of flooring that is made to last and stand up to every day use. There are many different types of flooring that can be called resilient, such as vinyl plank (or LVP), where the top layer is made of a durable plastic layer. Add on a ceramic coating for extra durability to scratches, like in all of our MBA vinyl plank flooring, and you have an even more resilient floor. The resilient flooring lvp that we carry includes 5 mm SPC rigid core, our 7mm VSPC, 6.5 5G SPC, and the 8 mm WPC collection.

Laminate flooring can also be categorized as resilient flooring, and there are different levels of wear resistance for this type of flooring (we'll dive into AC levels of wear resistance in a later blog). In all of our MBA Laminate flooring, we have AC4 wear resistance, which means the floor can withstand daily use at home (make sure to use furniture pads and avoid high heels indoors!!) and can be used in some light-traffic commercial applications. We offer resilient flooring from the MBA collections including the 12 mm Luxury Laminate Collection, and the Canadian Designer's Choice Laminate Collection. Both of these collections feature contemporary colours and patterns that have an ultra-realistic wood look (visit a store to see it for yourself!) and are great options when it comes to resilient flooring.

When you're searching for the next best flooring for your home, it's always important to look for features such as FloorScore certification, which means that the floor will not release any VOCs and there is no formaldehyde present, which encompasses all the flooring that Magna sells.
